Here is the latest edition of the "Trackside Burners" Radio Show, hosted by DJ Philly out of London. This radio show is dedicated/themed to all the writer's out there. So expect some spray can/graff samples, instrumentals, drops, Euro Hip-Hop/ US Hip-Hop, light mixing, light doubles, and a splash of talking by Philly himself.. All in all it's always a good listen and I would recommend it playing in the background while doing some sketching...

Over the weekend I took advantage of the sunshine and decided to "Get Free" on this Hip-Hop shit. So I grabbed 2 cans and with the help of my man Drasar Monumental (donated a can of silver) I was able to go out and rock a "quickie".. Still feeling the energy from the quickie" I got back to my headquarters and decided record a mix. (I figured cats in GF need some new beats to sketch too.) 
Whew if you were like me last night you did it real big for Cinco De Mayo... So for this weeks Friday Hype" i decided to throw something up more on the decompression tip.. Even though this is a few months old its still worth a post.. So with that being said check out this real ill live performance by a group of cats who go by the name Stray Phases. In honor of Dilla month (February) they rocked one of the best Dilla tribute performances i heard in a while... These 3 NYU students who go by the name Stray Phases, Storm Siegel (drums), Dave Mainella (piano) and Evan Crane (bass), destroyed the Tea Lounge in Park Slope (Brookyln) in half by doing a live set of Dilla "Donuts".. Please do yourself a favor and check in on this one. Especially if your a Dilla fan you won't be disappointed!

I had a chance to check in on it and I liked what i heard, and I will say it's a perfect mix for a Tuesday morning.. Nice selection, nice flow, and nice vibe is all I can say..
