while it's nice to see some recognition for the artist who have put in work over the years, I get the feeling main stream america is just jumping on the band-wagon because graff is getting some play in the media. Lets hope the well doesn't get poisoned from all the people who refuse to do their homework to learn the roots of this movement we have nurtured and loved for so long. Why do we write? Because we genuinely have love for it. If my name was never seen by anyone else, I would still be posted up with paint on my hands, music echoing off the concrete walls and a smile on my face because there is nothing else that feels as good as having a piece come together.
